(Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images)Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is facing some criticism for a late-game decision in this afternoon’s win against Michigan State at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan. The Buckeyes, who won 26-6, scored a late touchdown that has some Michigan State fans upset.Ohio State running back Mike Weber scored a touchdown in the game’s final minutes with the game’s outcome already decided. There are some who believe Meyer and Co. should’ve just kneeled the ball instead.“Punk move by Urban Meyer to run plays rather than kneel on it,” tweeted one fan.“Classic move by Urban Meyer going for the TD when Michigan State is out of timeouts…” added another.“Is it just me or would that have been somewhat classy for Urban Meyer to take a knee there? But, it’s Urban Meyer so dumb question on my part,” tweeted another. One Michigan State fan, though, probably summed it up best.Sure, it might’ve been annoying for Spartans fans to watch that touchdown, but if the Spartans really had a problem with it, they should’ve just stopped them.I don’t care that Ohio State put another touchdown on the board late. Don’t like it? Then stop it.— David Harns (@DavidHarns) November 10, 2018Ohio State improved to 9-1 with the win today, while Michigan State dropped to 6-4.The Buckeyes take on Maryland next weekend before the crucial home contest against Michigan. There will certainly be no love lost in that one.
